Add your input to who uses Joomla and win free templates for life!Inspired by the Mambo survey in November 2005, Joomlashack, a leading provider of Joomla templates and components (http://www.joomlashack.com/index.php?utm_source=jorg utm_medium=PR utm_campaign=survey) for the Joomla CMS, is reaching out to the Joomla community to create the biggest ever survey about Joomla (http://www.joomlashack.com/joomlashack/news/joomlashack-joomla-survey.html?utm_source=jorg utm_medium=PR utm_campaign=survey).We know your time is valuable, so all survey respondents receive a coupon for 30% off any Joomlashack order through April 30th, and are automatically entered to win prizes like $100 gift certificates to Amazon and the grand prize, Joomlashack Joomla templates for life (http://www.joomlashack.com/index.php?utm_source=jorg utm_medium=PR utm_campaign=survey) . Just 10 days after it's release on Joomlashack.com, more than 2,000 Joomla users have answered the Joomla Survey (http://www.joomlashack.com/joomlashack/news/joomlashack-joomla-survey.html?utm_source=jorg utm_medium=PR utm_campaign=survey).Will more results be able to help us answer these questions?: Is Joomla mostly used by developers? Nearly half of all respondents have made changes to the code of a Joomla component or the core code of Joomla itself, with 57% claiming PHP programming knowledge. Is Joomla easy to install? 0ver 80% of those surveyed say that installing Joomla on a server was so easy it took a few minutes. What other content managements systems do people use instead of Joomla and why? 32% of respondents say they have used WordPress, while only 11% nbsp; have used Drupal.Does Joomla make a good blogging platform? Over 60% say they use Joomla for a blog site.Take the Joomla Survey today and win free templates for life or a $100 Amazon gift certificate (http://www.joomlashack.com/joomlashack/news/joomlashack-joomla-survey.html?utm_source=jorg utm_medium=PR utm_campaign=survey) . We'll be releasing data from the survey both at www.joomlashack.com (http://www.joomlashack.com/index.php?utm_source=jorg utm_medium=PR utm_campaign=survey) and to Joomla.org.

Joomlapolis - City of 50,000! |

Recently our site - Joomlapolis.com (http://www.joomlapolis.com) the home of Community Builder - naturalized its 50,000th citizen. The growth has been phenomenal! The community is still growing at an average rate of 100 new members each day. The forums are also operating at high speed - currently over 8000 topics and around 27,000 replies. Joomlapolis might just have the largest Joomlaboard installation around. The CB Team would like to thank its worldwide community of Joomla community builders. Without their support and encouragement Joomlapolis and the Community Builder would not have reached this milestone. Feel free to visit Joomlapolis (http://www.joomlapolis.com) and comment on this event!
