New update 13. December 2006 This component is a bridge between two powerful systems: Joomla with Community Builder installed and SMF forum. This version is NOT for Mambo! Potentialities: More particularly that component gives opportunity to perform two-way users synchronization of the systems listed above: 1) The component works only with SMF 1.0.x versions. It is completely tested on the latest version of the SMF 1.0.8, so if you have any problems, please update SMF forum firstly. 2) Joomla administrator can transfer existing users from SMF to Joomla 3) SMF new users will be added automatically to Joomla after Joomla authorization using SMF username/password. 4) Joomla existing/new users are added automatically to SMF after Joomla authorization. Auto login works only in the case of: 1) http://www.yoursite.com/forum 2) http://www.yoursite.com/joomla/forum User synchronization works in case SMF and Joomla are located on one FTP.
