I've used Microsoft Project many times working on various projects. It's an excellent tool for setting and working towards project deadlines and milestones.

It does carry a hefty price tag though, so if you want to try it out before buying, you can download the 60 day free trial!

I was working on a project recently, implementing the PHPCart ecommerce shopping cart solution. The merchant uses Chase Paymentech as their credit card processor, and the PHPCart website mentioned that there was a gateway already made. However, I quickly found out that there wasn't so I had to code one myself! So I'm offering it up for free as open source. (more…)

Before my trip to Europe, I decided to look for a good VoIP app for my iPhone. It bugs me that Skype wasn't (and still isn't) available for it, as that would be the perfect solution. Since then Fring has been released, which I have yet to really try out. But at the time, only Truphone was available, so I thought I'd give it a shot. (more…)

I imagine that the vast majority of the visitors to my site have never even heard of Etobicoke (only 9% of you are even from Canada!). Well regardless, it's the city I live in, and so I thought I'd share this exciting news with you all.

I'm sharing in the development and launch of a new Etobicoke Portal! This may not seem all that exciting, but it is. This isn't a typical city site. The site will be entirely community-driven. All Etobicoke news, Etobicoke restaurant reviews, deals, photos etc will be completely contributed and moderated by the local community. That means that if you have something you think is news-worthy, or have an opinion to share, this is your soap-box!
